  • cmon, look on the bright side

we got a stuffing but should've been 2 up when wayne was thru
    good wake up call
many have talked of this game to go up and champs by not playing
IT'S UP TO US, NOT OTHER RESULTS..we must do it for ourselves.
expect another horrible night at barnsley, not a good ground for us and they have scored 7 or so in 2 games.
BUT still NINE pts clear , with HUGE goal diff
we still have 6 games to play....3 at home v derby, hull and lastly leeds
no easy games anywhere for anyone...but 3 away at barnsley, cardiff and then watty
the team need us to stay behind them...
our bubble burst yesterday but we have time to patch that hole and make good and can soon put it aside, IF WE SECURE GOING UP....
keep the faith people....we have been the best team in this lge for ages and will continue to be so..any other off pitch "issues", well we can't influence
but NO TEAM HAS EVER BEEN DEDUCTED PTS THAT AFFECTED A PROMOTION.

Completely agree, some people are well over reacting. We are top of the league FFS!

Agree with that very positive ...wins against Derby & Hull should be enough for promotion ...unless 2 of the 3 below us win all their games!

However on your last point weren't Swindon denied promotion in the nineties after the season had finished? ...got a horrible feeling the timing of the FA hearing is very significant leaving no time to get a sizeable protest together at the Leeds game and then things are always more difficult to organise once the seasons over!

i agree to ! i think more fans will wake up today and start to feel more posotive again! i think it was a bit of a shock all round yesterday and some fans just had a knee-jerk reaction to it! a result at barnsley and all this will be forgotten!

Who thinks we need to prepare for this anyway, just in case?
            A contingency plan?
Ready to go to Wembley that week (with a petition to hand in on the Tuesday it starts, with our support for the players whose livelihoods will be severely affected by lack of Championship winners/Premiership bonuses etc. -- that's one for the European courts if we appeal) and a constant peaceful presence?
Or would that do more harm than good?

I certainly think at very least we need to have loads of banners/flags etc. with "THE REAL CHAMPIONS" written/painted on them, so that, if we DO lose the trophy by any chance, the team know that, for us, we will always regard them as the champions this season -- a trophy is only a bit of metal, the moral victory will always be ours.
If the hearing deduct no points, we just need to cut the "THE REAL" bit off and we will have loads of banners saying "CHAMPIONS".
(And put all the pictures of someone else getting OUR trophy on our dartboards. Ironic if it was Norwich -- seeing as they were instrumental in denying us the same trophy 35 years ago.)

              swindon was gambling related

someone said peterboro were once relegated ....??

there was a "report" on indy r's site which was form cov uni and had stats from 1890!
              no need to panic yet
qpr will appeal any decision against us, which then drags the play/offs and relegations etc into chaos...do the fl/fa want that?
bear in mind sky tv etc and world wide tv coverage...and the tv companies have a huge say in football.
first, qpr must do the job themselves on the pitch and the "off field" will unfold, only then will we know, may 6th, day BEFORE season ends!...madness.
