Mate your original post calls our defence a joke, we got punished.

When Connolly made mistakes against Leicester x2 bad ones, we didnt get punished. Thats football. Doesnt mean Connolly deserves to play though does it?

Gorrks has shown how it should be done. Both he and comnnolly looked dodgy, got dropped and since Gorrks has returned, he has looked solid. Connolly came on against Leicester and looked even worse.

In answer to your question: SHittu was obviously poor as barring injury Neil dragged him, Hall wasnt great either, but I wasnt there so cant give an honest opinion.

In the "few" matches I have seen on telly, I have also noticed that.

But I do also think that he is a clever and playing CB. Anyway, obviously not in the way Warno appreciates.

An interesting thread.I can remember when Ramage was at Right back and we(the fans ) we screaming for a decent right back.Orr turns up and we are delighted by his early performances,got injured and then got spoilt with Kyle Walker.Since Walkers return to club and then to Villa, Orr has come in for a lot of stick, bit in my opin gets very little help from Routledge.Last season and beginning of this, majority of fans thought Connolly was our best defender,Gorkks coming close but form dipped.Hill got a roasting before season before we all decided that he was actually an astute signing by Warnock.Dan S... well had a couple of good games and got roatsed from the minute he started playing V Millwall Doesn;t seem to have recovered.

So 1500 hrs saturday 9th April 2011. Stats show we have best defensive record in our league, scunny have the poorest.Stats don't lie.If we go onto win this league, there will be fans that will still look on the negative side of our game.

That said, if you have told me that result before the game i would have laughed my ballbags off.But this happens.Over past 2-3 games i have seen at Loftus Road...just in my opinion...i get the opinion that some players feel we are already there.Playing a team like Scunthorpe, who have just been hammered 6-0 and fighting for their lives, this game could well be a very good kick up the ars.e we need to focus on the job in hand.barnsley will also be no walk over.

If and when we do get promoted, i can see that we need at least 3 new starting defenders, building round Gorkss, trying to re habiliate a youngster we all had high hopes on and releasing CCC players like Hall and Shitt.u
