It's alright blaming the back four-- and it was indiviual errors that led to three of the goals-- but the midfield were non existant in the second half. We couldn't string three passes together. They all wanted to do too much by themselves. It's a passing game, pass and move, pass and move, pass and move. It's not rocket science !!!
Not just back four the whole team were abysmal, just wasn't up for the fight they seem to think they just had to turn up to win. how wrong, Scunny fought for every ball and wanted it more.

First goal- Unmarked (their top scorer and best player, Joe Garner).
Second- Kenny should never have come out for that ball.
Third- Ball should have been cleared and should not have got the shot away great hit though.
Fourth- Hill should have just cleared his lines.
Overall, why change a team that kept a clean sheet 5 days previous.
Half of the spine of that team were unavailable.
Gorkss ill, Helguson rested, Taraabt injured.
Hulse is not a lone striker and has been poor due to this reason. He needs someone to play off of him. He is not as good as Helguson as dropping off into the hole and linking play. Not his game. Miller should have played.
Gorkss for Shittu, Taraabt and Helguson back in. We will get at least a point. barnsley are the most inconsistent team in the division.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.
I'm just giving you the facts from Saturday's game. How did you think that Hall and Shittu played on Saturday??
Mate your original post calls our defence a joke, we got punished.
When Connolly made mistakes against Leicester x2 bad ones, we didnt get punished. Thats football. Doesnt mean Connolly deserves to play though does it?
Gorrks has shown how it should be done. Both he and comnnolly looked dodgy, got dropped and since Gorrks has returned, he has looked solid. Connolly came on against Leicester and looked even worse.
In answer to your question: SHittu was obviously poor as barring injury Neil dragged him, Hall wasnt great either, but I wasnt there so cant give an honest opinion.

Regarding Hulse, his Achilles did affect his performances physically at least in the first part of the season.
Reports on here do now suggest that he is struggling psyciologically in his aim to recover.
Bottomline;he is not 100 % fit to play. This injury may be career-threatening, I fear. I feel sad about his situation, because when I saw him playing for Derby he was a real good player.
Thumbs up for him anyway. Maybe he will be a "revelation" in the Prem(If,if,if)? Have a Look at some of the Blackpool players, Ie. Luke Varney. Not many thought he could hack it in the prem, really? But he has played a few decent ones, hasnīt he?
My view!
