  • Wanted; 5 a side players (QPR Related)

I have started up a 5 a side team and we are currently in the Championship league on a Tuesday evening at Rocks Lane, Turnham Green, Chiswick.
So far we have played 3, won 1, lost 2. I'm really looking for a solid defender to bolster a potentially good team.
The games kick off at 6pm every Tuesday and are two fifteen minute halves. the matches are very competetive. The fees are from £3.50 to £5.00 a week depending on how many of us turn up.
This is QPR related as all the team are R's fans except one CFC and a possible gooner next week.
    PM me if your'e interested.

I've played in that league. We gave up as we kept winning it!

Looking at your post code my mate runs (QPR fan) the league down at Lamass Park (Will 2 Win) in South Ealing. Good league and pitches. Get involved.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Sounds like you need the 4 outfield players to do some defending as 5-a-side shouldn't be about positions. Lose your man when you attack and then pick him up when they come at you etc....Anyway hope you find your man, who would be me if I lived nearer...

Yes Rich we get left open at the back too many times, usually in the second half because we have just five players and no subs. The other teams utilise their subs and preserve energy. We were 1-0 up at half time on Tuesday and ended up losing 2-4. We just need an extra couple of players to give the others a breather.
