  • Re:Possible Points Deduction

Would we REALLY be that bothered if we were automatically promoted in 2nd spot?

Maybe now - but come August, will we really give a monkeys? I won't - it is the same end product whether we finish 1st or 2nd.

I would, we've been top virtually the whole season, and are opening up a big points difference -- to finish anywhere other than top would be a complete travesty.
Dad is still saying that we have done nothing which warrants a points deduction -- as he spent many years in the disciplinary section of the FA, I believe him -- he's told me to enjoy every minute and not to worry -- he's not.

Ask the players if they want a gold medal or a silver one, the trophy or no trophy, to have the hard work for being top for most of the season taken away from them...

I give more than a monkeys that we should be and deserve to be champions.

Perhaps my perception is a bit different.

I have Leukaemia and I told Lee Cook when I saw him at Harlington that my one wish was to see QPR in the Premier League before anything serious happens. I don't care how they get there, just as long as they do.

I'll be spitting feathers if the FA fook-up our chance of winning some silverware.
Whatever it is that QPR have done wrong, it really cannot be so bad that the FA would blatantly and willfully ignore the hard work and dedication the players and management team have put in to get QPR where they are now, top of the championship and looking every inch champions elect.
And the fans, what about the fans?
How unjust would it be if the FA in it's infinite stupidity, were to deliver the ultimate kick in the teeth to Queen's Park Rangers long-suffering supporters, and deny those fans the chance to see their heroes not only get promoted, but get promoted as the worthy champions they undoubtedly are?
It would be WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.
If, so late in the day, the FA feel they must do something, then a fine will more than suffice.

I hope he is right, give him a big cuddle if he is proved right

At this moment in time I would be very disappointed if we didn't win the title

I think we understand that and Im glad youll be able to see us in the prem but the question here isn't really one of whether we'll get promoted or not, thats pretty much confirmed, its whether we are shown as the best team and rewarded for it or whether the points deduction would show the best team in the league only being second.

We have proven that we are the best team, therefore we deserve to be champions as do our fans.........and we will be.

The way i see it is, when a club goes into admin they get a 10 point decution so with that in mind our punishment will have to be less then that as it's not a worse offence. If we do lose points it will be no more then 3 along with a fine.
