Why don't you trust him then?

he has already gone on record and said he knows the case, nothing like the Tevez case and only papers are creating a story with the points deduction theory...................

My original source Said points and small fine, and I got slaughtered for it. I can see points being a distinct possibility.

So the final conclusion is a day before the LEEDS GAME, do you really think if it was a points deduction possibility that they would deal with it this/next week?

The trophy will be at Loftus Road on the Friday !!

The reason the fa can't stop us going up

The simple reason the FA can't deduct enough points this late in the season is quite simple......

should we decide to appeal any points deduction and win the case we will be in a position where we could sue the FA for £50m in damages - they won't put theirselves in the position.

Big fine, worse case scenario transfer embargo.

To QBlockPaladini --- I DO trust Warnock --- completely. It's just he is basing this and his position on what your mate has put in front of him, same as the local rags, WalkonBy and all the rest of his PR machine.

Warnock has only been here a year and a bit. I've been here for all of GP's reign of terror and for that reason I am scared witless.
If GP told me the earth was round I still wouldn't believe him until I was in a space shuttle looking back at the world -- and even then I'd wonder if it was some sort of false image he'd put in NASA's windscreen.

I have gone from total elation last night to worrying myself sick again.

Make no mistake - the date has been chosen to ensure the trophy is in the right place the next day and also as an F you to the club.

(In others some of us never did)
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

You my friend are simply finding an escape route to justify your own words. Not sure I have come on here defending anyone?

Okay, it might suit to change my actual username for some kind of spin, which you accuse others of.

                    The reality is this

Neil Warnock the guy you trust implicity has already confirmed no need to worry !! I would welcome the FA telling us what will happen if found guilty and this is certainly not an ideal situation, because like you I want to celebrate promotion a happy bunny.

Like you I trust in Warnock and knowing the character of the man, he would have walked the moment this news broke if he knew anything underhand was going on.

It seems to like it here -- it's visited several times now!
Shame Jamie couldn't lift it up last night when we asked him to!
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

                      • Some late night thoughts -

Warnock does indeed seem relaxed about it. but he is a master of spin and talking to the press. He's hardly going to appear nervous and express concerns about what could happen as that would surely filter down to the Team.
I don't believe he would have walked immediately either.

I don't recall anyone (local press or ITK speculators) saying 6 out of 7 charges would be dropped. Only that The Club are confident of answering 6 out of 7 of the charges. From that the assumption has been made that either 6 charges will be dropped, or we'll only be found guilty oor get punished for 1.

The bookies point made by Swanley, is an interesting one. If they do withhold paying out, if we achieve promotion/become Champions, I really will start to worry. Their rarely wrong. Hopefully, they'll pay out.

Are they leaving it until the last minute, because we delayed the process by asking for more time ? ie. Making us sweat.

I guess no one REALLY knows. Let's just keep winning.

                        • Our odds are also the same and other clubs around us have not been shortened.

We are the only ones (which is right I guess) that are worrying

                          • Probably because we're the only ones that have something to lose.

Clubs below us don't. Being 9 and then 13 points clear at the moment, means any points deduction is a bonus to them, but may still not be sufficient for them to leap frog us.

God forbid we hit a losing streak between now and the end of the season.

This not only effects our Premiership status, but if we demoted to say 3rd, then the 6th team could kick up a stink and other teams too

                              Its definitely a fine............................
By that logic, we're definitely guilty then.
I thought we'd done nothing wrong??

A thread full of pure guesswork, spin and panic.

Personally, I don't think we'll get any kind of deduction that would affect the final positions... and that has been made easier for The FA to gauge by the timing.
They will know what effect any deduction will have on the league on may 6th, far more than they would if they dished it out now.

So apart from the nervy wait, it's not such a bad thing that the decision is being delayed until the last weekend of the season.
It gives The FA room for manouvre, the opportunity to act tough, set a standard, but not over-do the punishment.
That's IF we're even guilty, which Pete already seems certain we are.

                              Just an opinion though.
                              Or guesswork.
