If we get a points deduction Rangers will just appeal and it will drag on over the summer in courts plus the play offs dates will just cause chaos.

Will be a fine. Confident on that.

If we are found guilty of anything then whoever's fault it is has to go. School boy clerical issue.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

FA probably waiting to see what impact a points deduction will have so we are not denied being champions

Think this is now stinking even more than when it first came out. Look at Rooney - game on Saturday, charged Monday and has to respond by tomorrow. Fact this is dragging on is a real worry.

Have to totally agree with Qblock pete, a fine and no points deducted, if that was the case it would have had them deducted, on a plus side too, it was QPR
that told the F.A. about the situation and not the other way round.

Can't for the life of me see a points deduction that will affect our league position, as any points deduction that would, would be appealed by the club then if needed dragged through the courts. That would mean that no play offs and/or promotion would be sorted before the start of next season. I think the date set shows no urgencey on behalf of the FA therefore I believe it will be all about the size of the fine - just my opinion

I wish I shared the optimism of some here. The FA are a law unto themselves and the timing of this hearing stinks of a stitch up. It's almost as if they've made up their minds already.

Strange date granted but do the FA really want too mess up the whole promotion / play off schedule?

I dont think that we will lose points but in the event we do the FA have two options

                              1) Take points which leave us in the top two so the table is not effected
                              2) take points which totally take us out of contention of the play offs making us mid table and not influencing who goes up or down

If they took points which left us in the playoffs and we knock teams out of the playoffs then there will be litigation from those teams who have lost out. If they put us just outside the playoffs 7th or 8th and we fight our way into the playoffs teams such as Forest etc who are just outside the top six and who think they have a chance of sneaking in will complain if we prevent them getting a place

So the FA either finish us off good and proper or leave us in the top two comfortably

                              My personal view only

If the worst happens 10pts deduction, the Leeds game could be massive for both clubs.
