  • A good stat from Cardiffs board

    http://www.ccmb.co.uk/fudforum/index...7e37a90222e659

They only need 5 points out of 3 games against Scunny A, Barnsley A and Derby H. (Their goal difference is far superior to everyones, like an extra point)

So yes, they will be promoted. I don't think it will make any difference to the game though, if anything after teams have already secured promotion they pick up a fair amount of points from the remaining games.

Newcastle gained 13 points out of 15 after gaining promotion.
    West Brom 5/9.

    07/08
    West Brom 4/6
    Stoke 4/6

    06/07
Sunderland 3/3 (a 5-0 away win at Luton)

    05/06
Reading 14/18 (including battering us 5-2)

    Dems the facts.

    Also some compliments

Leigh must be a member of every single championship forum.

Anyway can't stand cardiff and to question Derry is just utter nonsense.

I wonder if they rate there useless big black midfielder forgotten his name he's that poor.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

agree Ric, but there easy run in makes me think they will push Norwich close.

Them and Swansea (although i dont dislike them as mutch as Cardiff) should not even be playing in any of the ENGLISH leagues, let alone the "Prem". They are Welsh, they answer to the Welsh F.A how fair is that?.In that case why are there no Jocks and for good measure throw in some Frogs!

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

I have always disagreed with this attitude. Cardiff and Swansea are as much part of the furniture of English football as QPR, Man Utd or Barnet. Your argument is not with the Welsh FA or Welsh teams its with the English FA who in the Year 2011 have still not had the foresight to dissolve the Welsh FA's authority when it comes to professional football.

Don't get me wrong I don't want to see either off them promoted, but IMO they do have a right to be here and its just the way they have been managed by footballs authorities through the years which is a mess.

This weekend the table will change shape once again. Swansea are at home to Norwich @ 5.15 live on SS1 so that will be an interesting battle. A home win could see us go even further ahead of 2nd place.

i'd rather take a draw from that game dazzer just to be on the safe side, although we will gain more than enough points to win this league.

Swansea WIN all day long fella. Look at the league. Personally I don't care how anyone else does as long as we win. Another win Saturday and I think we'll be home and dry if we also beat Derby. Can't make Saturday as the missus has arranged some engagement drinks for us with a load of our friends but I've already check the pub which will be showing Jeff and the boys from 2pm. Looking forward to Barnsley away even more now though!!!

I want that to be a draw and Cardiff to draw at Donny, as that way, we can get promoted at Barnsley and crowned champs at Cardiff.
