Lost interest in a nonsense thread when the poster said - they will join teams in the top flight like wigan and birmingham who have neve won either of the two domestic trophies. Clueless fool could be forgiven for not knowing we won the league cup in 67 but Birmingham ? they won it only a couple of weeks ago !!!

This is a good post:

fatty im no statto but QPR havent flashed the cash in the manner in which i think you suggest. Theyve made equally shrewd signings as other teams around the top.
Also, and please correct me but in the last 30 years havent they been on avergae higher placed then us? so whos punching above who's weight??

Can't post on their site even though I've setup an account. Here was my reply...
Oh here we go again... Listen to yourself will you. Next you'll be saying you in last nights game until we scored, that the scoreline flattered us or you deserved a better result than the one you got. You were in the game last night until kick-off!
Until you man up as a football supporters and face the facts that you're a poor, poor football side you'll get nowhere. Obviously you believe everything you read in the media and don't like letting facts get in the way when you open your trap either. QPR has spent nothing near what has been branded about. If you want to believe they have spent fortunes on players then I suggest doing a little research into the clubs accounting figures and will see that our spending on wages and transfers is pretty much the same yours and similar to other clubs around the middle of the division. The difference is you got mugged off with the players you’ve bought over the last few seasons. A nice little fact for you is that we signed Taarabt, Smith, Derry, Hill, Faurlin, Orr & Paddy Kenny (remember him) all for less money than the £3 million you spent on Ched Evan - What great business that was on your part! Talking about ‘punching above your weight’ for years there was always only one team in Sheffield and that was Wednesday before Neil Warnock put you on the map and in true PIGGY fashion you ungrateful mugs have nothing but a bad word to say about that man. Back in the 70's, 80's and the very early 90’s we were a much bigger supported club than the likes of Chelsea and Fulham weren't even on the map – Only difference has been that our fortunes went in the other direction to both of these clubs in the mid 90's and in those years money in the top flights has increased x1000 over.
Chin up piggys, you got a lot of nice local derby’s to look forward to in Division One next season.Last edited by Dazzer1977; 05-04-2011, 11:22 AM.

I don't know about you lot but I tend to care about QPR and QPR only, what everyone else says or thinks I don't take any notice unless it's positiveUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

The bloke was full of bitterness at his own clubs relegation plight. When Reading One this division with 106 points Sheff Utd came 2nd, did the whine then about `Rich` owner buying success? I doubt it, Reading done it the way we are, with a manager who adds quality to hard graft, team spirit and a desire and belief to WIN.Club Before Country
