Fayed said if the Fulham fans don't like it, they can go and support someone else. Nice of him.

"I hope many fans of his will visit the statue from far and wide. I hope that Fulham fans will appreciate seeing the finest performer in the world amongst them, the finest fans in the world." Today, in the face of widespread criticism of the move, he is somewhat more defiant. "Why is it bizarre?," he said after the unveiling. "Football fans love it. If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift they can go to hell. I don't want them to be fans. If they don't understand and don't believe in things I believe in they can go to Chelsea, they can go to anywhere else."
Fyed really is off the wall

I doubt the adults at Fulham will be impressed...but the kids will be touched by it! As for the game, it won't be a thriller...just plain Bad!

Heard West Ham were thinking of having a statue of Michael Jackson outside their new Stratford stadium.

Something to do with his previously un-released song "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles".

Can help thinking there are more deserving Fulham footballing heroes who should have been honoured in this way first.
                        Honouring an American perv? Stupid.
If I were a Fulham fan, I wouldn't be very happy -- will make them even more of a laughing stock than they are already.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

It doesn't even look like a statue, it looks like a plastic toy.

This really is painfully embarrassing. I wonder if it will be the target for jokes and vandalism?

Possibly soon after full time? Definitely before the end of the season IMO.
