  • QPR rip off fans for dearest mascot charges in english football

QPR charge £850 + VAT for being a matchday mascot. Just heard the QPR fan talking about it on five live. They do free mascots too, but this is just.........how would you describe it?

Generally what you get for your money around the country, is a free kit, meet the players, stadium tour, dressing rooms just before the game, in some cases a meal, and obviously the photo shoot on the pitch, which would be every child's dream, and a memory forever. Ali G is still alive and well.

Wish it was Aprils fools, but it ain't...
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

If you break it all down, the mascot package at Rangers isn't that bad. Includes W12 seating and all meals for 4 people and the one they've quoted is top whack. There are lower prices.

Just a nice headline for a journo.

My sons both did it when they were younger and all it cost was the price of a kit which they had anyway so cost me nothing and the club could not have been better

I am sure the LSA/FOQPR get allocated about 8 places a year free of charge as well

Yes you can wait for the draw, or pay to jump the queue. Nodge, what other packages do you know about?

Lazy/joke report really. My son was a mascot not so long ago as a junior R. Didn't cost a penny and we were well looked after for the day.

It has been the case for many years that there was a free mascot (the club mascot) and a paid for mascot (often sponsors mascot) I was mascot in 1984 (v Chelsea on Boxing Day) We had to pay for everything including kit. Where as the "sponsored mascot" got free everything (kit, ball, memoriabilia) however I got to choose who we had the pics done with
