There seems to be a lot of negativity on WATRB towards new members. Some of it is good banter,but some seems quite nasty. At the end of the day we are all Rs fans and it does not matter how many posts you have under your belt or how long you have been a member. We are all brothers so lets put all our effort into supporting our team URssssss
As Kirill said, joining at such a point in time when the Leeds ticket fiasco was in full flow, coupled with the cheek to be asking strangers for tickets could not have helped.
In general though, I'm sure MOST that is said is intended to be in good humour.
I can remember joining WATRB's a few years back on the old board. I put quite a lengthy opening post together by way of introduction. To my astonishment, I was then asked what was my favourite cheese. Some things,(and some people) just take a bit of getting used to.
Funny how many new members have Leeds tickets. May be its called forward thinking,or we don,t like shouting about it!
Too many of us have become complacent in our old age knowing how easy it is to get a ticket down at LR, also remembering the days when distribution was done correctly (before email), first come first serve n all that.
Don't suppose any of you newbies would understand that.

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)
So season ticket holders and members first is not fair then?
Yes but how many they were allowed to have each was a bit ott if you ask me, also online crashing, phones not being answered etc, a lot easier when we all had to queue.

You mean there was a time when we didn't have email or loyalty points or smart card season tickets? Surely you are joking?

Mine used to be cheddar; but since moving over here, I can't get used to Canadian cheddar so I find myself indulging in provolone these days.

@Nowt2SeeHere
I was called a Di*k and a lot ov other names by a couple of mates who were non rangers and wanted a tkt each to come and join our party against Leeds.May call me old fashioned or whatever but i was A) not prepared to see tkts go to non r's when there could be genuine supporters not getting tkts and B) i didnt want a sub standard atmosphere because of loads of neutrals in the ground !!
