Loads of arm waving and bouncing up and down. Came to nothing, but it was just a pony end to a pony evening.

Feb 2001: Wimbledon 5 - 0 QPR, the lowest day of our relegation season. Cold, horrible day. Patrick 'Wu-Tang' Agyemang absolutely annihilated us. The only highlight being when the scoreboard malfunctioned and showed QPR 5 - 0 Wimbledon for a few minutes. The away end went nuts..
I was at that one, sat in the home end behind the goal (free tickets). Left straight after the 5th goal went in........horrible day out!

            surpirsed no one has mentioned

Vauxhall Motors surely the lowest point in our recent history. The first game at the Deva stadium was bad enough we should have lost we didn't and optimists like me were forcasting 6,7 or 8-0 wins at Loftus Road in the replay.

The thing that struck me about that game was despite it being our lowest point the second Karl Connollys miss gave them the win the whole Loft end were on their feet applauding the minnows. QPr fans = class

Losing 3-1 at Colchester... in a league game.

You get cup upsets, that happens to all teams.

But walking on my own down Layer Road when we were 3-0 down in a league game, was the "penny dropped" moment when I realised we were really a 3rd Division team (and not a very good 3rd Division team), not some big club who were just going through a dodgy phase.

It's moment like that... as well as journeys to see us lose at Bournmouth, Crewe, Wycombe, and even drawing at Cheltenham Town, that I will look back on when we cross the finish line.

At times, it was a f*cking nightmare.
              Hell of a journey though.

                  In Yates?

I just remember some big lump larging it whilst wearing an illuminous jacket. He started on my baby bro who was only 16 at the time, so I told Pete to take him outside and keep him away from it. It all got stopped before anything happened by the bouncers, and me and Lee were the ones told to leave. We'd have been served up to be fair as there were a load of them, but armed with a pool cue, we'd have give it a go.

Has to be the night I listened to Wolves v Liverpool back in 76, cried for the first time over football after that, but the day we lost 3-0 at home to Stockport, last home game of the season we got relegated to League 2, left me feeling empty rather than upset.

i know there have been worse ones, but i remember playing at home to colchester in the cup. watched lomana tresor lua lua tear our defence to shreds and bag a hattrick in a 4-1 win. it was so bad that when we scored hardly anyone cheered.

Out of all the bad games and there has been loads..the mother of them all is that humiliating Wembley defeat with Oxford. Got up that morning, full of spirit and met up with the lads at SAR and marched to Wembley via all the pubs, red hot favs to win it..oh the tears at the end with the players clapping us...
