Boyer would be a fantastic purchase to play alongside Faurlin in the Premiership, with Derry filing in when he is not available.

Can we not do this again? How many have had to post recently that they were wrong about the likes of Derry, Hill and Mackie?
If Sir Neil takes a punt on a player then just go with it and see what happens - he openly admitted the risk with Clarke and got that one wrong (didn't cost a fortune though) but got the rest pretty much right.
Trust the manager and avoid the potential embarrassement in due course.#standuptocancer

A lot of the above was IIRC quite some time ago. He had a ruck with Keiron Dyer when at Newcastle I think. Agree shows lack of discipline but who would have thought that the polite, Guardian reading Graham Le Saux would have done the same thing?
Not to sure what went on re drug test failure. Did he get caught with performance enhancing drugs, charlie or just had a few puffs on a joint?
Did they, as I remember Woodgate and one or two others were involved, pick the fight with the student because he/they were Asian or did it just happen to be that a row occurred and they just happened to be Asian?

2) When he was 17
3) Nothing to do with his attitude on pitch - happened 11 years ago - judge found no racist motive.
Not saying he's a nice guy - the McDonald's trashing can be added to the charge sheet - but his onfield attitude, professionalism, commitment and experience means he'd be a perfect fit for us next season. IMO

He is one of those that will divide opinion no doubt. I just don't like the runt, plain and simple and would rather we looked elsewhere.
Just like I would never want someone like Diouf at our club....even though he would be a good player.
