1988 FA Cup game at home to Luton on the plastic pitch.

Don't remember our goal, but sadly remember Luton's equaliser. Game finished 1-1.

      Lots of head tennis happened.

I was annoyed to find out that we'd been beaten by an incredible own goal in the return leg - Warren Neill perhaps?

The big match was always on a sunday afternoon
the league cup game would have been on midweek sports extra after the news
remember the day very well, so wierd going to arsenal as the home team through the turnstile and up onto the north bank, me and my mates were almost the first ones in. I think there was nearly 40k in the ground that night but after all the build up it was a real anti climax, we got destroyed by brian little, long long trip home to greenford that night, I think it was probably the first night game i was allowed to go to away from LR and on a school night as well, i can only think it must have been half term holiday for me to be allowed to go.

The 1st game I remember going to was - Watford at home 1980/81 season. 0-0 Draw.
Don Shanks was my dad's mate at the time, he got us the tickets.
          I was 5 years old.

First game I went with my mates was Middlesborough at home 92/93 season it finished 3-3. Then the obsession really began.

First game was in '78 but i forget who.I was about 10.

One of the earliest i recall was the 7-0 win over Burnley in '79.Young Billy O'Rouke made his debut in goal and left the field in tears. He died in 2002 aged only 41.

Home match against Notts Forest and we won 4-3. Saw it again for the first time about a month ago on here i think. If i remember correctly Les ferdinand got a hat trick.

I have faint memorys, we were sat in south africa road near to the loft, think i was wearing full qpr kit, ready and willing to hop on as a second half sub if they needed someone lol!!.... Also remember Tony Roberts doing his trademark slap of the floor when he let a goal in!! Classic.
My first game was also Forest 4-3, I must have been 6 or 7 too. Where did you find the recording of the game?

Pete, I should read these threads more often.

I lived in Woodstock Road - about 15-20 minutes walk from the Boleyn Ground. Went to St Antonys Catholic School. Left the area in 1980. West Ham are my second team. My dad and brother support them.

My first QPR game was a pre-season match back in 2002 against Tottenham. We won 3-2. I remember Jamie Rednapp played and my mum was like oohhh look at Jamie Rednapps legs haha.

After that I started to follow QPR but wasnt until 2005 I went to QPR V watford due to my brother was unwell so I took his ticket. I then started to support QPR fully.

hammer, I don't think my dad and brother like me much. When Rangers play away, they buy me tickets for West Ham games.
