  • You'll never walk alone..

Have always thought this is a great and moving song when sung by thousands, and we used to sing it in the 70's as did many others.

People don't sing it now because it's "liverpool/Celtic's" song but I for one would love a version for us, in honour of Warnock, to sing in the last few games. Having sung "stand up for the manager" and seen the reaction to that, I can picture it, scarves out, Championship trophy being redied, last 5 minutes of the Leeds game and everyone standing singing something along the lines of..

    "Warnock, Warnock,
    Gave hope, to the R's,
    and we'll never fall again
    we'll never fall again"

    or

    "Warnock, Warnock,
    Gave hope, to the R's,
now we're back where we belong,
    we're back where we belong"

    or

    "Warnock, Warnock,
    Gave hope, to the R's,
    Now we'll never walk alone,
    We'll never walk alone"

    What do people think?
Fags n weed, glue n speed, but I draws the line at crack !

Even though my Dad and his family is Celtic I will never sing that song. Makes me think of the Scouse - never been to Liverpool and never want to!

                  BORKED

To Neil, and the team and the owners
We thank you for getting us up
We hope you'll be staying here longer
We're after that champion's league cup

We're back, we're back, we're back in the premier finally
We're back, we're back, and looking to make history

You can do lots with this tune, how about this song or other suggestions? Try some words to it.

heheh...the teams she managed seemed to get an awful lot of penalties!

Is there some competition to see who can come up with the least likely song ever to be sung or what?

Wouldn't it be better to just sing "Rangers" repeatedly to tune of YNWA? Millwall used to do it well and we sometimes attempted it in the 80s but not that well really.
