OK OK i know wont be a natural goalscorer...but with Taarabt, Smith, Mackie/Routledge feeding off his flick ons knock downs & better then Helgusson
Miller is younger, faster and stronger, Heskey , even ten years ago, never had pace, he just played with his back to the goal, so what you are suggesting is that our pretty midfield pumps long balls up all game. No thanks, QPR are a passing team, leave Route One for Stoke. You might as well get Rory Delap while you're at it.

I honestly want to see Troy Hewitt, just got this strong feeling he will be top class
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I like Heskey but he seems to be injured too much. No point being a battering ram centre forward if you're susceptible to knocks. We couldn't get him but Kevin Davies is ideal in that sort of role.... disturbs defenders AND plays every week.
