  • Are you going to cry?

When QPR win the championship and something like 'we are the champions' is ringing out of the stadium speakers will you feel that lump in your throat? Or will you hold it in like a hard man in front of your mates? I'm 19 and a male and I'm going to be sobbing like a little girl whose had a sh1te chrsitmas, alchohol indused ofc
QPR, remember that name, you'll be cursing it later

yes this will be the time to shed tear. I'm 50 and I cried when we beat West Brom to get to wembley in 82, same in 86 and the same at hillsborough. I cry whilst thinking of dear friends and relatives that are no longer around to see these rare but wonderful moments.
Relegation ? never shed a tear , time to have faith in good times ahead

Oddly enough, I was just 23 when we got promoted in 83 as champions (might have even been on my birthday?), but was deliriously happy and excited at hearing "We are the Champions" and watching the word Champions come up on the scoreboard, and hearing the crowd chant Champions, Champions over and over again.
So when I burst into tears when Furs scored at Hillsboro and again at the final whistle, it took me a bit by surprise!!
This time? I'm watery-eyed just THINKING about it. Chances of me not blubbing at some stage are very, very remote.
I will be drowning the whole of X block...

I cried fir the 2003 playoff final, did not cry at hillsborough (was at that 'awkward' age), will most definatley sob my #### off when QPR lift the championship trophy to hopefully 'we are the champions' with the scoreboard re-itterating that fact, dunno why that song... just give it a listen now and tell me it doesn't feel better than christmas, I'll link it now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04854XqcfCY

Stop it, stop it, stop it!!
I only have to hear those first few piano notes and vocals and I'm welling up!!
It is truly a brilliant song, the pain and the glory both in there.

"But it's been no bed of roses,
No pleasure cruise..." gets me every time.

you wait til you (fingers crossed) hear it when QPR are crowned champions of the championship, I don't know if I'll have enough fluid inside me to produce the tears that I will need to emotionally produce.
I will cry every goal we score, final whistle, lifting the trophy, pub sessions after, journey home then watching the highlights on telly late late that night, then perhaps a little more into my pillow to send me off to the land of nod.
Then the next day I shall wear my QPR shirt wherever I am, even at work, I shall gloat, and gloat, and so on...

Lord knows ive shed enough tears from anger and frustration that itl be nice to have tears of joy when we go up...

I can see it now, Karaoke bars all over sunny Europe. Hordes of R's on holiday doing "we are the champions" in Rangers shirts, caps, flags, scarfs......

                          Really?

This thread is about as cringe worthy as that Jamie Oliver advert where he burst in to tears.

I may cry even at the age of 41. Been waiting long time for this I did cry at playoff when they scored and in 1996 when Man Utd scored in the 7 min of injury to make 1-1 knew then we where down. But when we go back to the prem I will be thinking of my mum and dad who bought me up a QPR fan and my grandad (never new) who went to QPR games all no longer with us.
