But the club have actually facilitated touting by offering 2 tickets to someone who has a seat.

For example,i could be a person that goes alone to games, but being a ST holder can buy an extra 2 to do with as i please.

Why should i be able to do that when a member, who lacks cash to buy a ST,but pays week in week out, can't get a ticket?.

    It's wrong.

ok sooo, im not a glory hunter , ive been going since i was maybe 4 or 5 and am 40 now but money is tight and cant afford a season ticket and cant get to as many games as i would like to and have also been working most weekends to get a bit of extra money for my young family (3 kids) . back in august i said i would always try and get a ticket for the leeds game as i thought it would be an interesting game one way or another so if there is anyone who has a spare ticket and would like to sell it please PM me , thanks in advance. jeff.

PM one of the touting ST holders.

It's people like you that miss out while ST holders take their glory hunting mates.

Very wrong. Completely ridiculous position for the club to allow to happen.
However, what's done is done. Hopefully, certain decisions will be made in future in order to ensure that such unsatisfactory situations are not allowed to occur again.

Do you not think had ST holders not been given the privilege of buying 2 spare tickets and it was given to members instead maybe even say 3 tickets the system wouldn't have been abused still, it swings in roundabouts.

The club are not in a position to look at individual circumstance, they have rewarded those fans who they regard most loyal; ie the ones who stumped up a lump sum at the start of the season. The other oversight a lot of fans are missing is by releasing tickets this way Leeds fans were prevented getting their hands on them.

Could have done it members 1 ticket only first, then ST holders 2 tickets, then general sale. That way priority fans get their seats first.

              Sounds fairer to me mate.

The system determines where tickets go. Those that understand it can exploit it. Ultimately, the club couldn't give **** who gets the tickets since money is money. If if LR was filled with 18,000 Leeds fans, it's all the same to them.

                  Unfortunately that's true.

Most football fans have yet to realise football clubs are company's these days and are no different to Tesco and M&S.

To be honest, I would have felt that the fairest way would have been to allow members to get the opportunity to buy one ticket first, even before ST holders like us, thus ensuring they can be at the game. I do not have a problem with then allowing ST holders to purchase perhaps one additional ticket each in preference to those who, even though it may have been due to financial issues, did not do so.

I am sure that as intelligent as you are, despite wishing to appear somewhat controversial at times, you can empathise with the view that it is slightly wrong to allow those of us fortunate enough to be able to purchase ST's, to be given the chance to purchase a further two each, at the risk of depriving certain members who may indeed go to many games each season, but not necessarily enough to justify a ST.

                    Just my opinion of course.

So who bought them to sell on for profit?.

                      Man up and admit it.

I know a st holder who's bought 2 extra tickets, 1 to sell on and the other for extra legroom!

Also, i wonder how many tickets club employees, players, etc get?

I think it is a bit unfair to call the Eastern Europeans Glory Hunters. To be fair to them, they have been coming to LR for ages, even when we were doing badly.

I am sure they have their other team in Poland etc, but they are decent football fans.

When I was out in Spain I supported the local team. In fact Malaga's fans are 50% ex-pats. It happens.

Seen this quite a bit. Tickets were on sale to season ticket holders and members.

Members who signed up before end of jan had as much Opportunity to get tickets as ST holders.

Why let facts get in the way of a good rant?

                                qpr

qpr fans have always bought extras not to tout them but to get there mates to
come along so i doubt if there will be much touting on the day
