I dont think its a case of complaining about the ground being full or not...

Its about when its not full at the start of this epic journey to the promise land its because people couldnt really give two shits about watching the team...

But when it comes to the crunch and we are playing to the lift the trophy, everyone wants a bite of the cherry!!

People who have been to the games all season or a majority of them havnt got tickets!!

This is unfair but sadly thats how it works!!

Can anyone really say who is a bigger or not?

I think that is my point really, how can you tell who is the biggest fan?

On the other front I totally appreciate that - I used to always buy tickets on the gate as it's always touch and go as to whether my dad can come or not. But after the Donny game where we were pretty rank yet still won 3-0 I decided "Hmm, we're 100% gonna win the league now" and got a membership (and the £2 off tickets which doesn't go amiss). But if I'd been buying tickets on the gate all season I wouldn't be able to get tickets today.

Things like this are always going to have a bit of unfairness in them. I guess I don't have the solution though
A blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years

Coming over from Ireland its not a cheap hobby. Now can't get 1 ticket for game where we actually can celebrate something.
Your plight is genuine unlike many of those coming out of the woodwork.

I seriously hope you get a ticket sorted out mate. If you remain stuck, there is an outside possibility I might have one spare for the Leeds game. Sadly, I won't know until the week of the game as it depends on my son's football schedule. He often can't make Sunday games due to where he is playing. They may have an important game that day in which case he has to play but if there is any prospect of missing to see the Rangers then he will. (He has been a S/T holder now for 4 years so why should he miss out on the biggest event he will have witnessed!)

Anyway, if you are still stuck the week before and he is unable to make it you are welcome to enquire for his seat and I will sort out the necessary with the box office (Junior ticket upgrade required). Oh and it's no poxy restricted view - right behind the centre of the goal, Upper Loft, 2nd row!

At the end of the day if...

              1. You have a season ticket home/away
              2. You buy tickets on the gate but go most weeks (when you can)
              3. Are a member
              4. Buy a half season ticket
              5. Or own a box haha

(im sure I missed a catergory)

Then you are entitled to a ticket to the big games...

I understand the point though, if you are the fan that hasnt even been to a game all season, but has literally just bought a ticket to QPR V LEEDS purely because its the game where potentially we will lift the trophy then that is slightly wrong and thickle.

Let the dust settle for a week or so ,I'm sure a few people have got themselves too many tickets, and will start offering them on various M/B's when they have been let down

                      .
There is one other category. I have been a member for many years and decided not to this year...why? Because every time I want a ticket they go on general sale anyway. Also, when there is a really big game, like Leeds, most members can't get a ticket - so I decided it wasn't worth it. I go to as many games and I will be at the Leeds game, but will be paying over the odds for the ticket.

I don't but a ST because my work means I would only be able to make a couple of mid week games a year.

even then I don't feel entitled to a ticket, i don't think anyone is except ST holders, though I don't agree with them being able to get extra as it makes membership worthless.

Why are you special because you travel further? Tickets are not on general sale - so everyone in that queue goes to SOME games!
Not special in anyway but I think you missed the point of the tread. I feel the tickets allocation should be done differently. The fact is, there is going to be loads of people at the game that are friends of fans who more than likely have not gone to any QPR games this or any other season. Why should these people get tickets? If they want tickets they should have to wait till they go on general sale.

I more be more than happy to miss out if the people who got tickets had more loyalty points than me. Why not sell the tickets over a number of days starting with the highest amount of loyalty points.

OK, no worries. You are not "The Special One" after all ;)

Anyway congrats on you getting your ticket - spotted it on another thread.

I think that appears to be whats happening.Season tickets holders getting extra and taking friends and family that may or may not have actually been to any games. That happens...i agree about the loyalty thing....but may only gripe is.

No matter whether it be QPR....music festivals etc etc....i never manage to get a ticket

I think i am very unlucky
