I've seen a few gripes over last season or two about how "having a season ticket isn't worth it coz of midweek games, i work every 3rd Saturday, cant plan ahead, blah, blah, blah..."
I'm always liable to miss games due to work, holidays, illness etc BUT the reason I've kept my season ticket going for the last 10+ years is for EXACTLY the reason today has thrown up.
If by some minor miracle we'd progressed in one of the cups and drawn a big side at home all the usual suspects would be wailing from the rooftops about how it's impossible to get a ticket.
I do however agree that the club is wrong to allow ST holders to buy 2 tickets. Why? It should be members who have acrrued points by attending a certain number of games this season already getting 1st dibs for a few days and even then only one per person.
Good luck to all who deserve a ticket and are still trying.
What will annoy me is to see touts offering on the day. Can I suggest if you are in desperate need on the day... find a tout, get a group together and roll 'em!!!
