It was something about villa not being liked very much, rangers at that time never like now really had those sort of numbers to take villa's end and hold it.

Rangers have the record for taking the most amount of fans to Wembley.
We have had lots of games where we have taken big supports and normally played **** poor.
Remember Highfield Rd very well. Port Vale away. Man Utd away in the Quarter Final of the FA Cup. Man City - Pollock game. Wimbledon away in the cup. Been loads over the years.
Sheff Wed away obviously.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Think it was 67k.
I can confirm that in the 86 milk cup final we sold 67000 tickets. The overall gate was 92000.
The figure is an official stat. Not made up.

Check that out, don't think that's right. We had about 15,000 there that day.
