  • Big QPR away turnouts?

What big away turnouts spring to mind when travelling with the mighty superhoops?
For me i remember going to Selhurst with 14,000 R's to see us lose 2-1 to Wimbledon.
I was also amongst the 8,000 who took over Hillsboro on that glorious day under Ollie

In recent years, Villa and Manure away in the League cup
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Apparantly in 67, we had the vast majority of fans.

Guess that would be the highest ever?

Sure it was more than 50,000

Think 82 was the last time Wembley held 100,000

I remember 8/9000 at Luton in early 80s - league game with us all crammed into their big open terrace behind goal; think the crowd was 19000 as opposed to their normal 8000ish.
