great to read some parents on here know how to bring up kids with respect and the desire to learn rather than expect things to be given to them.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Good man! Mine's about to graduate from the Rizla machine, to rolling his own. Claimed Senior Service weren't tough enough on his throat. No hit.

"Having said that, it is clear to me that all of you were utterly reckless in what you did that night.

"These girls were entirely unknown to you. You saw these girls as willing sexual partners, which they were, and behaved towards them as if they were simply pieces of flesh, not people.

"By acting as you did, you will have confirmed in them twisted views of what sex is about and further entrenched in them thoroughly inappropriate behaviour."

The judge added: "But no-one can ever tell what effect such an inappropriate experience can have on a girl of such an age.

"Experience shows that the effects can be long-lasting and they have the potential for impeding the normal process of growing up and of forming normal relationships with members of the opposite sex of an appropriate age."
Is this really the kind of thought process people expect from a group of 19 year olds being offered it by girls they were told were 16? Something's not right here.

Ha ha - my only vices are fags and drink though I do neither when in the children's company - they've never seen me smoke and (regrettably) only the eldest has ever seen me drunk. That was once when I rolled in very late and he came down stairs having been disturbed from sleep by a bad dream. I was horrified - and when he joked to a couple of my mates at footy training the next day about it they both implied that their kids seeing them drunk was a regular occurrence in their households!

Anyway, I'm glad to say that all my kids find smoking a disgusting thing - so no problems there and in time they can all make their own minds up about the drink - but won't be influenced by images of their parents rolling around or fighting like drunks. Not saying it doesn't happen but they just don't get to see it.
