I've always been suspicious of corners; they're overated. "Huge" total of 2 goals from corners - given we must have been awarded at least a hundred of them I reckon that's a shoddy hit rate. However, the winning of a corner seems to generate untold optimism, singing and dancing - you'd think we scored from every other corner the way the crowd carries on??? Out of the 100-odd corners we get I bet the opposition goes up the other end and scores on the odd occasion too; wouldn't surprise me if we had a 2% chance of scoring from a corner and a 2% chance of conceding following one of or corners. This is not a criticsm of us - all teamns are the same (except for neanderthal Stoke maybe).

You have a point, maybe teams should just drop back into the half knock the ball back a start an attack, can you imagine the opposition? they would not have a clue what to do.

Get this to idea to Neil, we have a way of ok not dominating but upsetting the Premier next season.
Just like Stoke do with their long throws, new things can work.

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)
Paul, what do you think of Adel winning the Championship Player of the year? Seem to remember you slating him
My thoughts are there for all to see and he dererves the award, you would know that unless you are a ***** than can't read, or you are looking for a cheap shot. Will you asking the hundreds of people who thought Hill and Derry were pathetic signings if they are voted players player or fans player of the year ?
