When will we know?

Does anyone have any idea as to when we will find out what happens next re the Faurlin charges - any news re a hearing date for example

The whole thing means i'm not feeling as excited as i should be - although it does seem that Warnock, Paladini etc arent too worried

Nobody knows the outcome for sure.
Sorry, but I don't believe anyone who claims that they do.

But as for the timing? Again, nobody seems to know for certain... but I still personally think that it will be heard before our next game on April 4th.

For what it's worth, Pete thinks it will be many weeks, Dave McIntyre says next week ("March 31st or April 1st"), and Shaun Derry said on the radio that it should be heard this week.

No, it's not just you.
Every time I think, "Oh, we'll be OK", this little voice says "But the FA do things irrationally, and they hate us, GP and NW, and what if the Norwich fans are right?" and then the big, black cloud comes overhead again.

I'm not worried Mem. In the unlikely event we do get docked points it will be a token amount of 3 points or less by which time it will all be academic and we will already be up.

It would be a pain, until we finally went up... and I'm not wishing for any punishment, but I'd like the scenario of a couple of points deducted, and we STILL go on to walk the title.

What about other title chasing clubs then? Can they take us to court if we are not docked points just as Sheff United done to West Ham and utimately sent them tumbling into mediocrity????

Just as a "by the way", the play-off 1st legs are likely to be in mid May (8 weeks away). The last day of the Championship season is 7th May (7 weeks time)...it can't be any longer than 6 weeks otherwise we'd go into the last match having no idea who was playing for what. I'm pretty sure (albeit without any solid reason to be so) that they'll not present the Championship Trophy until they've decided this (we can't be mathematically guaranteed of anything until they decide whether to dock us points)...so if it goes beyond the Leeds match, the trophy presentation will be prompted directly as a response to the FA's decision....I'm sure they wouldn't want to decide the champions and place-offs opponents on the basis of if/how much a points deduction is made.

Why would we appeal the fine? The way the FA work we could lose the appeal and they'd punish us further with a points deduction.

Not saying they will but couldn't 100% say they wouldn't.
