Perhaps you could explain why the FA are deeply unimpressed. Are they deeply unimpressed that their rule specifically gives 14 days to answer charges, or are they deeply unimpressed that we will be complying with their rule?

Just wondering as 14 days doesn't sound long to me in view of the apparent complexities, legal representation, how much may be at stake and the possibility of the case going to appeal or even a court of law at some point in the future.

There again if the FA are only going through the motions perhaps they could tell us.

I'm sure you know UEFA's position and take on individual clubs pursuing legal avenues for sporting penalties against national associations through criminal and civil courts?

I'm sure you won't agree, but like Jeffro - the info is pretty direct from a source exceptionally close to the FA hierarchy and, as always, passed on in good faith on QPR related matters. I've no reason to doubt them or their motives but no doubt others hold different views.

I don't get the hump when people don't believe it. That's certainly their prerogative and I've certainly been caught in the past by Pete's good old line "things change quickly in football". What I don't really appreciate is a condescending attitude to long standing posters.

If you're a club rep, no problem - it's great to read your info as it would certainly be more valid than anyone elses and appreciated. Please don't cloak it in sarcasm and belittling others viewpoints though.
