The only day of the year I refuse to go to the pub, remember when we played on Paddys night and we had to drink in The Greyhound behind the Princess Vic to avoid it.

Can't stand some tit telling me how they're Grandads mates dog come from Ireland so it means they can wear a stupid hat, and drink Guiness once a year and generally annoy me to the point I want to plant that Guiness glass straight into their grid.
Also the fact that somehow, St Paddys Day is made a bigger deal of by these plebs than St Georges Day.

        Haha really?

I don't understand why the English celebrate it. There is no need for a reason to get **** faced. Just do it ffs!

            well well well

well a lot of you younger rangers dont know that origionally shepards bush was
a massive irish stronghold later years it became kilburn now its cricklewood but but back in the day, most clubs had no crowd problems at all.
Exept yes you guessed it those crazy lions, but the only club in london that used to stand against them were the incredible southern irish fans that followed qpr, these guys cut a very strange sight, they would wear a hanky around there head, which had several knots tied around it,they wore there old suits,as a belt they had bits of string.
And they also had wellingtons on there feet.but the millwall bully boys just could not frighten these southern irish, these guys drank loads of beer, and my dad loved them because,he felt safe when they were about, because make no mistake, these guys loved the rangers.

so i must put up a poem of thanks for our irish frontline troops
who so gallently followed there beautifull team playing in the superhoops
many a time on the roads, they were defeated
but the guiness was drunk and the millwall fans were seated

the south london bullies had spread the word of fear
but the irish qpr fans would just drink more beer
just like magic they became supermen
and the millwall fans returned to there den

            so pat, liam,danny and brendon
            thankyou for protecting west london
            your heroic ventures
resulted in many a pair of dentures

now your ancestors carry on the the good fight
so we can be sure the futures bright
lets hope our hearts stay full against leeds
and the young irish decendants fullfill our needs

being a complete plastic paddy , had a fantstic day , i used to sit in front of you mr hylton 03/04 and 04/05 seasons , the one that smoked non stop. like all of us all r's fans , i still have that worry in the back of my mind. it would be fantastic if st david's day was a day for us all to remember , if the f.a. got there #### in gear and did the right thing. also well done the english cricket team , another reason to keep the rangers fans into cricket team, to keep there minds occupied until .....

its sad to see how some of my fellow r's fan take a dislike or knock irish people who tried to contribute to this great nation, only to add and better it.being of an irish mother and father , i was brought up to appriecate how england/united kingdom /great britain alllowed my family or many like us to earn a good living , live a good standard and reach many goals and beyond . like many past rangers as john bryne , garry warrock , terry mancini , then them present like martin rowlands , paddy kenny and hogan ephraim , the latter of irish background . most will all agree we tried to give to and not rip off the system
