I would not worry about our top 5 premiership players, because I think 80% of the regular players we have, will play next season and I bet we see the phrase "they have earnt the right to be given a chance in the premiership".

Don't need nearly as much as blackpool did.Think there's a'lot of crap in the premiership at the bottom, fancy us to do alright with some additions.

I just dont see Derry being able to cut it in the Premiership, he lacks the yard of pace difference between the CCC & Prem, and isnt going to find it this summer going into his 34th year.

He's been a revelation for us this season and wholeheartedly deserves his chance at a swansong, but with the kindest will in the world, the Fabregas, Wilshire, Lampard, Gerrard, Arteta, Cahill, Van Der Vaart, Modric are all going to have too much intelligence and guile for Derry

Derry has the first 5 yards in his head and I have a feeling he (and Hill) will play the majority of games next year, as they have earnt the right to play this season.

I dont think anybody would begrudge Derry or Hill being given a chance at the Prem as theyve definitely earnt it. Both will be exposed at that level though imo.

Can you really say with any confidence you'd be happy with Hill facing up against the Nani/Walcotts running at him with pace.

No, but the fact is that the current owners will not buy any top draw players, so the sooner people come to terms with that and accept that's what is going to happen, the better their health will be.

Those who really rate Shittu are demented or watch football with blinkers on! Doesn't have half the pace he use to have which was something that use to get him out of a lot of trouble and his distribution is also worse than it every was. All that came to light against Millwall as he struggled to even keep up with Neil Harris. Still prone to lapses in concentration too and IMO only in the squad because of Connolly and Gorrks have been struggling with their own form.

My player in order of importance...
                                1) Kenny
                                2) Derry on his CURRENT FORM
                                3) Taarabt
                                4) Faurlin
                                5) Smith

I know this will raise a few eyebrows having Derry before Taarabt but for me he is the one who has made Taarabt the player he is this season. Without him I think we would of conceeded a lot more goals and he has been the voice constantly pushing Taarabt to express himself on the pitch in the way he has been.

Players we need for next season are:
                                1) A new back 4
                                2) A central midfielder
                                3) 2 wingers
                                4) Probably and most important a 15-20 goal-a-season striker - Yakubu could be a good investment for 1 year.
