    personally i think its a joke if he gets appointed as our next manager. yes we did play some good football but also let in lots of goals, our defence was useless under him and so was stewart.

    like someone else said on another thread any manager could have done what he done at the time as the players we brought in(vine,buzz etc.) were huge improvements on what we had and are obviously gonna make us play better.

    decanio has never done anything as a mangager, and hasnt a clue about players in the english league.

    bring in aidy boothroid.

    So if a manager is irrelevant and anyone can get the same results based on players alone, WTF happened to Spurs when Redknapp took over from Ramos.... That's just one very recent example, but if what you suggest is true, then there'd never be upturn in results when clubs appoint someone new. It's a blinkered comment to justify your argument.

      cerny connoly, stewart, gorrks, delaney

        So you actually think the defence would go from a solid unit to a leaky set of 5 over night if Di Canio is put in charge????

        The one positive from last season was that both Dowie and Sousa transformed the defence into one of the best in the league. Those players are confident and know what they are doing
