  • Warnock's signings to date

I was reading with interest the thread below regarding Helguson, Taarabt and a comparison to Hulse. I then got thinking about all of our signings. If you had to score them 1-5 on the scores below what would you give them and overall what is your average score, which then gets allocated to Sir Neil?

    5 - Excellent
    4- Good
    3- Average
    2 - Poor
1 - What was he thinking?

Paddy Kenny - 5 for me without a doubt, best keeper in this division
Clint Hill - 5 for me, though I found myself choosing between 4 and 5
    Kyle Walker - 5 - Class
Danny Shittu - 4 at least, timely and just as we remembered. Not washed up and past it as lots said when others, like me, called for his return
Bradley Orr - 3 for me. Not quick enough, distribution average, heading quite good and doesn't give in
Pascal Chimbonda - 3 - Seems capable but not seen enough yet
Shaun Derry - 5 - Without Derry we wouldn't be top
Tommy Smith - 4 - Without injuries and a real run in the team he may have made 5. Not as good as I remember when he was with Watford but a good purchase
Jamie Mackie - 4 - Started really well but then did fade a bit for me before his terrible injury in January.
Wayne Routledge - 5 - He has been superb and is a real threat
Petter Vaagan Moen - 3 - Not seen enough yet but seems capable
    Adel Taarabt - 5
    Rob Hulse
    - 2 - Poor rather than "what were you thinking" as I would have bought him too and was excited like most at his signing
Leon Clarke - 1 - even Warnock admitted it was a risk when he bought him
Ishmael Miller - 4 - Seems to be a decent player, more to come I hope

Average score - 3.87. Closer to good than average and proved in the league position. Top marks Neil, take out Clarke whom he knew wouldn't work and the average is 4.14.

    What's your average?

Are you having a laugh??????? Surely to early for hitting the bottle.

So your telling me Jamie Mackie is a better signing? oh dear

Both of you have well UNDERRATED Tommy Smith.
He is such a quality footballer with an incredible football brain, and always makes the right decision, has so much more QUALITY than mackie but again you both are showing a lack of understanding, sorry but thats pis sed me off.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I scored smith and mackie the same but read my comments on smith. Clearly mackie has had a better impact this season than smith to date

well i scored as the following

well i scored the following marks out of ten

kenny......................10.. the best keeper ever to play for qpr in the last fifty years curent value 3 million pound
adel........................10.. the best ever outfield player to ever play for qpr except rodney marsh stan bolwes gerry francis les ferdinand
                  current value 10 million
derry........................8 ...hes had a fantastic season
mackie......................8...started well but did need a rest
                  hill............................7.. fantastic defender,solid as a rock
routledge...................7 ..can be sensational, but can sometimes go missing for large parts of the game, and should score more goals
shittu........................7.. big dan is quality but he can be exposed against a nippy forward
orr.............................6... not yet played to the level of ability i know he has
smith..........................7.. much better than i ever imagined
clarke..........................4.. in fairness to him wasnt played at his preferd striker role, but he wasnt dominant enough
hulse............................1.... brave player but completely bereft of any skill and could also be devoid of a brain absolutely useless in the air as he always misses the target but even worse on the ground, hes got to be one of the worst ever strikers to play for qpr again.perhaps he could take a plumbers course, but hes a total waste of space, currently he has to have 4 burley minders to get him safely into the ground

It's not about pleasing me, its about showing a little common sense.

I don't want to get into an arguement but how you can give him a 6 is beyond me unless you have missed games.
