Yeah I know exactly what you mean, the boy's just got a little extra something about him. Skilful, Hard worker and a great engine. Think Warnock would love him too.

Neither Ecclestone nor Warnock will be going nuts with the pursestrings, i would imagine they'll look at what Blackpool have done and try and replicate it. IE, youngsters leaving Prem clubs, anonymous Prem players after a last chance, & the odd unknown foreigner.

Would imagine something along the lines of:

Richie De Laet, Emile Heskey, Emmerson Boyce, Lee Bowyer, Benjani, Diomansy Kamara, Jason Roberts...

Of course you'd expect GP & Flav will be allowed to dabble and bring in an aging Serie A or La Liga journeyman or two..

Really think some people have some seriously unrealistic expectations...

If he wants to stay in England instead of moving to Germany: Nico Kranjcar.

I think we'll need a RB, a LB (depending on Chimbonda really), a defensive midfielder and 2 strikers.

RB - I like the look of Clyne (Palarse)
LB - Chimbonda may well do a job
DM - either cover for Derry or to replace him - not sure on this one tbh - maybe Ben Watson?
Strikers - I'd love to get Crouch back, but I guess that would depend on who Spuds bring in, and what other offers he gets. Failing that, Maynard will do a good job i think, and I also really like the look of Rodriguez. Think the latter may be more likely as he's not really got the same level of profile Maynard has at the moment. With 2 of those 3, plus HH, I think we'd be getting close to having enough to stay up

                  Excuse me a minute...

                  Dear Jim

Please can you fix it for QPR to have a decent football team next season?

                  From

Russ (aged 8 and a half)

                  There, that should do it.

O'Hara would be about the best we would get.

Crouch would be great, but he won't come back to us for many more seasons yet, that is aiming way too high.

How on earth can any of you suggest Bullard and not be locked away in a mental institution with no internet access?

I hope we don't just sign old experienced heads - i.e. injury prone has-beens on big money.

Someone mentioned DJ Campell - decent shout, but think he is quite old? Not sure though.

If we went up I would look at the players relegated from the premiership and the players who fail to win promotion. O'Hara would be a good signing but if we didn't sign an existing Premiership player I wouldn't be bothered. There are plenty of quality players in this division.

The likes of Gunter, Chambers and Adam Thompson at Watford haven't been mentioned but are all very good defenders. Prattley has a brilliant engine as does Lewis McGugan both add goals from midfield. If Cardiff don't go up than Whittingham, you've got players like Danny Graham, Snodgrass, Gradel, Andy King and Chris Eagles would all be cheaper and better options that some Premiership players who have struggled for form for the past 12 months.
