Based on one game and only watching barcelona a few times, I wouldn't want my decision based on a Champions league final.
For me it would have to be RonaldoALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Iniesta can turn in a pass very quickly and still pull it off. He works well under pressure and is able to turn his man and lay the ball off in an instant. Messi wan't great lastnight whereas Iniesta was.
Messi wans't great against Chelsea in either leg, whereas Iniesta was. None of the United or Chelsea players got near Iniesta anywhere near as much as they should have been able to.
As I say, Iniesta reminds me a lot of Zidane. Flowing, slick and graceful passing allows his team to opperate with space and ease. His work rate is pretty tireless too as he always seems to be in the action, much to do with his off ball movement too. The options he gives and creates his team mates is incredible.
I almost sound like I want to marry the guy, but I'm genuinely in awe of what he brings to the game. An exceptional tallent.Win or lose, on the booze

For an all round player you'd have to go far and wide to search for better players than iniesta and gerrard but as a pure attacking entity I think Leo Messi is number one at the moment, its just a shame we dont get to see these two guys plying their trade week in and week out in the prem.
I just can't find a flaw in Iniesta's game, nor can I in Gerrards.Your mum would love me...

How can you have half the players listed yet no Rooney...?
For the fans thaut see them every week, most Man Utd fans i have heard say they would be more concerned about Rooney leaving than Ronaldo.... Also i agree Gerrard is a stunning footballer, but for england there's no doubt who the main man is.
For me Ronaldo believes his own hype too much and is a very selfish player... last night when they were on top for the first 10 mins he hardly passed once, even when others in better positions instead shooting every time...missing the target on most.
IMO the best player in the world needs to be exceptional and also a great team player and for me, Ronaldo is more interested in himself first, team 2nd...the constant stares to the big screen suggest he's more interested in being in the spotlight than anything else.
The likes of Messi, Iniesta, Gerrard, Rooney all fit the bill for me, but on current formmost would say Messi as he grabs the headlines with the goals, but no denying that Iniesta has been MOTM more often of late... both excellent and hard to call.
As for Ibrahimavic, massively overated.... who said when he is interested... hardly counts. To be the best you need to perform consistently again and again and again..... not once in a blue moon, blimey, e ven Rehman had a good game once.
Tevez - decent, but not in the same league... impact player, some skill for sure, but a bit of a headless chicken also... sort of a much higher quality Ainsworth for me.
If i had to pick one for my team or who i think could comfortably perform and mix it in any style of team, in any league, be it quick and tidy Barca style passing, power and pace, slow build up, counter attack, long ball, short passing, can finish, tackle etc etc...it would have to be Gerrard.

Ronaldo I think for me. He has got everything power, pace ,skill, shooting, aerial ability, scores goals for fun can play in a variety of positions, I think people are harsh when they say he goes missing in big games, big games invariably involve the best teams in the world and these teams will often set out to neutralise the oppositions best players making it very difficult to put in a brilliant performance in all of the big games!
Gerrard is definately up there I think he is underrated by a lot of England fans because he hasn't really ever don't it for England!
Torres is the best centre forward in the world imo.
I don't see enough of the foreign football to make a proper decision on Messi though there is no denying he is unbelievably skilled with the ball I get the feeling he wouldn't be as effective in the EPL Chelsea kept him quiet on the whole!
Ibrahimovic I think probably the worlds most overrated player I have never seen anything from him that warrants being listed in the top 10 even but people seem to bang on about him all the time!
