  • Adrian Bevington from the FA.......

As you may know he is the Director of Communications in the FA. I can't reveal my sources but someone I know spoke to him yesterday and he said that if Rangers get found guilty of the Faurlin issue it will be a fine and no points deduction. This is a top source believe me.

So let's all relax, cheer the lads on today and get those 3 lovely points!

    Come on you Rssssss!

Let's hope Faurlin scores as well!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

The FA will know the financial risk involved for them if we won an appeal against them having missed out of promotion due to a points deduction.

Lets be fair its not beyond reason and doubt that a hand picked panel wouldn't know the outcome of the verdict before they review the case.

Did the FA mention a points deduction directly or was this just speculation? If they did mention it, find it surprising they would now backtrack....unless they realise they have no case.I think the most positive thing is that we've denied it all. This would be based on legal advice, so they must be confident of the outcome.

the panel have the authority to deduct pts if they so wish.its within thier remit to do so.they wont care about being sued, they(the panel)will come to a decision and hand out the punishment they feel is warranted.theres probably a rule that a club can not sue the organisation they belong to(FA,FOOTBALL LEAGUE) i know that rule certainly applies in the premiership.as i say time will tell.
