  • Yet another article..

    this time from The Express.

The bold bit... It's worth throwing into the pot.

THE FA are preparing the ground for a Neil Warnock double-whammy by highlighting the differences between QPR’s ‘third-party’ signing of Alejandro Faurlin in July 2009 and the infamous Carlos Tevez affair.

While West Ham were convicted under Premier League rules, the FA are acting in this instance as Football League regulations only moved into line with the top flight in the summer. QPR have protested their innocence but are yet to respond formally to the charge.

Nevertheless, the FA are still determined to convene a three-man panel to hear the case before the end of the season so that any points deduction would be relevant. The message from within Wembley is that West Ham were punished with a fine and, crucially, no points deduction, mainly for failing to communicate the status of the Tevez deal rather than for registering a player owned by a third party.

But it is a further concern for the FA that if they do deduct points and thereby deny QPR a lucrative promotion, a successful appeal could leave them with a damaging £90million compensation claim.

If only everything was as simple as QPR boss Warnock – then in charge of relegated Sheffield United – would have had it back in 2007. “The points deduction should have been automatic,” he said.

Very interesting. Would the FA risk £90m just to make an example of us?

    I doubt it.

OK - noted - but fact is we would never win that claim. We could make it, sure, but no way would we win it. Usual lazy journalism trying to make a supposition sound more. So all it means is the FA will make sure they are water tight. And since the rules allow then to do what they like that should be pretty easy.

The FA are mental. They always take things totally out of proportion and get their priorities wrong.

I mean... Wayne Rooney can smash someone in the face in front of millions of tv viewers, and 20,000 people watching live. They do nothing.

Millwall fans can riot and chuck missiles for the umpteeth time. They do nothing. Apart from warn them about their "future behaviour". Again.

Ashley Cole can bring the sport of football into total disrepute by shooting someone with an air-rifle while he was at work, which is plastered all over the front pages of national newspapers. They do nothing.

Leg busting tackles are left unpunished, clubs are going down the pan, the World Cup Bid, they ignore their own "strict rules" when West Ham move into Leyton Orients back garden. (Kerchiiiing!)

But anything to do with admin technicalities, and red tape??? They are all over us like a f*cking rash.
        Like flies around sh*t.

The threat of a £90m lawsuit might worry them, if they had any brains.

And if they really used their brains, they'd fine us a couple of million quid, and pay that four-eyed Italian pr*cks wages for a year with the proceeds from us. The one who manages their national team.
        My national team.

        The FA.
        A bunch of pen-pushing c**ts.

I completely agree. However no point getting angry now, just look at the percentages and consider it a baptism of fire. IMO, they wouldn't dare dock a league leader points and deny it promotion, it would be unprecedented in England, and the FA will come out of it looking worse. These guys let the big guns get away scot free with tapping up kids, and we get busted for one guy 2 years ago. Even othr managers are saying they'd be surprised if we were docked points this season, meaning, if this happened to them, they wouldn't expect a deduction either.
