  • Surely any court case would just drag on and on..

with QPR appealing and appealing going to different courts. High Courts and who knows even the European Court, especially if it's a points deduction.

This would certainly affect the start of next season as the fixtures are done in June.

We wouldn't even know which league we were in. Would make it tough to plan which league we would play in.

I hope the club have the best lawyers and the worst scenario is a fine..........God I feel even more depressed tonight
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Surely the FA know this too. I think we need to lay a marker down to the FA and let them know in no uncertain terms we have the worlds best lawyers and sports briefs on this and it cost cost the FA dear if they wish to deal with us unfairly.

Surely the FA know we will not take it lying down as you say it could go on for months/years.Can you imagine the mess that causes.

Quick fix is a fine unless they only plan to dock us 3-6 points which still leaves us in the mix.

If FB has lawyers who can get him off his F1 ban surely they would eat the FA for breakfast?
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I agree jeffro and I'm clinging to the hope that the FA realise that a points deduction would result in a long drawn out appeal, and court cases and so will resort to a fine if we are found guilty to avoid this.

And that's exactly the reason why I think they'll go for a hefty fine to swell their coffers instead.

Except on the BBC it says the FA are determined to have it sorted out this season to avoid uncertainty and other clubs suing etc. Not sure how this works, whether QPR would be able to appeal?
