  • Derry on Player

If his interview is anything to go by the players and staff seem in great spirits, completely unaffected by it all and totally focused on getting back to winning ways on saturday. Even had time for a laugh and joke with Keith Curle.

    Encouraging.

Didnt look that way mate. All looked pretty genuine - no hint of morale being affected.

Some have suggested that NW and players knew before the Millwall game though...would put paid to that theory if thats the case.

I would not be surprised if Shaun Derry can see the future. He can do most other things.

That was cheering me up, until hubby pointed out that promotion would see Shaun losing his place in the team without doubt, and he will only get in the team if we stay down.
Cynical old git, my hubby is...

(Perhaps it's got more to do with me calling Derry "my ideal bit of rough"?)

That's what I told cynical hubby.
I'd be very glad to see him lead us out in the Prem next season (cos AT prob won't be there).
