It's a charge (well, 7 actually) that have been brought against us, and we are the first club to face them under the current rules, which as far as I can see were ammended in 2009, AFTER the Tevez saga.
So there is no precedent here to go by. It's a landmark case that will set the standard for future cases like this.

I've heard of teams being kicked out of cup competitons for "fielding an ineligable player". That's a fact.

So.... is, or has Faurlin ever been, an ineligable player for QPR?
And was Tevez ruled ineligable?

Unfortunately, this has been the case forever with Mr German, amongst many. Some only seem happy to post about anything bad to do with the club.

As much as I sincerely doubt Toni, and the rest would like this to happen, it does make you wonder how much they care about the clubs well being?!

Luton Town were done for many things, including making illeagal payments to dodgy agents, going into admin, and general crookedness.

What QPR have to do is convince the FA that they haven't sought to gain any advantage, or fielded any ineligable player.
And basically hold their hands up to making shoddy admin errors, but in good faith.


IF (I repeat, IF) we are found guilty of these charges... Offer to pay any fine, and/or accept any suspended points deductions handed out to QPR FC.

And make it clear that they will fight any actual points deductions through every court in England, and Europe if the FA decide to hand out a punishment that stops us achieving what the players, manager and fans have earned ON the field of play, purely because of an admin error/issue.
And Gianni Paladini must hold his hands up as an incompetent, rather than dragging the club down with him by being defiant, and denying everything.

Top post, mate. As with the Tevez saga (I know...This one has dragged on for a while, before coming to fruition), this case would take ages to prove. By this time, we'll be in the Premiership. Couple that with the fact this is something which happened 2 years ago, to hand out a points deduction without any fightback from QPR, would simply not be able to go ahead.

I stand by my initial thoughts...We'll get a fine. More than likely a large one, as well as a few court cases from other clubs affected, including Sheffield Wednesday, who will surely argue they could have kept their CCC status ahead of us, if given more than a 10 points deduction.

This could prove very costly to QPR on a cash flow basis, but I sicerely doubt we'll see any points penalties imposed on us.

I think the FA are saying that Faurlin was ineligible after the contract extension was dealt with in Sept 10 due to the incorrect information being amended in the original contract.

I'd like to think that would be the case but I can't see it.

I hope the lads put on a good performance and claim the 3 points but this mess WILL be destructive. I feel gutted for warnock espically after what went on with the west ham/sheff utd incident.

He will definately retire if this goes against him and that could be a very very sad day.

I'd like to think that this will have a positive effect on the players. By positive, I don't mean they will find this a happy situation to be in, but I feel with the battling qualities in Hill and Derry, we will see this continue to rub off onto the rest of the squad, and make them fight harder for a larger points tally, come the end of the season.

I really fancy us to tonk Palarse now.
