  • They canīt punish QPR for this.

I thrust the "not deliberate! part of the clubīs announcement.

They "must" have acted within the law if they choose to use "not deliberate".
Havnt QPR got their own advisors on potentially" dodgy" legal matters to turn to before signings are made and sealed.

Gianni is as dodgy as they come. If the man had earn't respect over the years then I would feel confident in your point Shania but this is Gianni we are talking about lets not kid ourselves.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Oh yes they can !!!! we are QPR and rarely does anything go our way

18 pt reduction and we wouldn't even make the play-offs, which may not be all that bad:
      • Winning more games than we would in the PL next season
      • Still being able to buy relatively cheapish tickets on the gate
      • Away fixture at Palace - always enjoy that one
      • Stopping any new glory hunting fans....................

I'm trying to convince myself - but it ain't working

"Not deliberate" translates as "we know we f**ked up. Please don't punish us too badly"

Nodge works day to day in football so he must know more than he is telling. Come on Nodge what do you think will be the outcome u don't sound positive.

                Ok,ok. I get your point, weareQPR12t!

But I mean, the Mittals are also in some way involved in this case.
Doesnt Paladini have to report to someone higher up in the hierarchy, really.
Especially when third party signings are concerned?

Very salient point that has been overlooked.

Also - much depends on Faurlin's "eligibility" - if not registered - you can be deducted 3pts for every game of the period concerned. In our case 18 points. Wimbledon had something similar over Jermain Darlington 4 years back involving a foreign FA (albeit the Welsh). They were deducted 18 pts by the FA, reduced to 2pts on appeal.

But what about;" I acted in good faith" ?

Ok, how many posters think that anyone at the club "acted in good faith"?
Even if that's what it was, it is no defence in law, and this could be a crimninal case, not just internal FA matters.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I think that's the point that everyone is missing. If falsification of documents is involved, the points deduction will be small fry. We're talking criminal proceedings.

And I'm sure they'd love to spoil Warnnock's party too!!

By the statement we have as good as admitted we were in the wrong and it's now down to mitigating circumstances. If that's our approach during the hearing then we must be strong and distance ourselves from the individual concerned. I'm sure we'll have legal experts going through the documents right now and I suspect someone will be getting the boot prior to the hearing.

Everything comes to those who wait...........
