Well I dont think there is a single sane QPR fan whoever believed that we paid £3.5 million quid for him and at the time it was the strangest deal about with a foreign team involved etc but fingers crossed and everything else that all will be ok

At least the owners can afford some very expensive lawyers on this one.

        We might need them.

We never had these problems when Shelia Mason sorted and administered our transfers.

Done on the quiet and professionally

West Ham were fined £6m. They subsequently fought a civil court case with Sheff Utd where, iirc, West Ham finally settled out of court, agreeing to pay Sheff Utd a total of £30m over a five year period.

Sanctions for these offences can range from a slap on the wrist through to exclusion from the competition (i.e. demotion) and all points inbetween, including points deduction.

Some people will be having very squeaky bums right now.

People you've got to remember though West ham were a Premiership team. We are a championship team lol.

But Sheila had the misfortune to be professional and insisting that things were done correctly. Some people didn't like their paperwork being reviewed.

If the directors Knowingly signed and filed a set of accounts they knew to be untrue it is a criminal offence and would result in far bigger punishment than the Faurlin affair. Equally, the clubs auditors could be stripped of their qualifications and disbarred so they wouldn't sign off on falsified accounts.

I'd be very interested to see a copy of these 'second' accounts but I'm confident they don't exist.
Interesting. Didn't KPMG once walk away from our accounts?

Thats the take on the story that I heard and I also understand, however I am not sure if this is true or not, that Sir Alex Ferguson made numerous attempts to acquire her labour at Man Utd.

NB - If these breaches mean that Faurlin has been an "ineligible player" it WILL be a points deduction.

                              Why?

Tevez was ineligeble and West Ham didn't get points off? Unless I've missed something

I think we do own him. Re the article in the telegraph posted in this thread:

It said we bought out his 3rd party ownership in october (funnilly enough when the club announced his new contract). So we own him now, but maybe not beforehand.
