Another fragmented performance.
For a team that is top, far too many performances of late have seen us struggle to create clear chances. We hardly ever enjoy periods of pressure or possession (mainly due to long goal kicks 99% of the time).
Would love to see Faurlin carry the ball out more from defence just to shake things up - it's all too predictable.
No width last night either. Routledge isn't suited down the left. Buszaky never is and never will be good down the right - no pace and can't dribble. Playing off the front man would be his best position where his ability to strike a ball is up there with the best, can be fully utilised.
It's easy to say Adel disappeared again last night. He can't do much with the ball when it's 10ft above his head. Great players need to play with great players and the right tactics to get the best out of them. He would look awesome for Man Utd. He can't always pull rabbits out of the hat in the kick-and-rush freneticsm of the Championship.
Still think we're going up as champions, but worried our tactics would see us come back down at the first attempt.
