  • Chucked out at 80 minutes!!!

At 80 minutes, everyone in the wheelchair area was told to leave, as they were expecting both sets of fans to start ripping up seats and throwing them, and we could get hit!
They said we could watch the rest of the game on the concourse -- but the TV's were off.
(Good job we didn't do a Derby and pull back the two goals late in the game -- I would have been absolutely livid rather than just annoyed.)
Ended up leaving and getting back earlier than expected, so at least THAT was a result.
Should have chucked out the fans ripping up the seats (didn't see it happening ?) not us lot who were trying to watch the game.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Why don't they install seats that cannot be just ripped up ... pathetic.

No, I am seriously amazed at how flimsy the seats are at most footbal stadiums. And chucking wheelchair users out early because of a security threat due to this seat rip-out-ability ... frustrating.

That's shocking Swanley and I hope you get an apology or a refund as obviously they thought they were not capable of ensuring your families safety

Think about this properly. To fit that many seats in a small space, they need to fold as they do at near every club in the country (Luton and Bristol City are the only ones I can think of that still have the wooden bench which could be broken just as easily) , therefore needs a hinge, which is a weak point which can be broken off.

But yeah, ask the clubs to fork out a few million for metal which can still be broken and be used as a better weapon. Might be like WWF when they use the steal chair.

I'm not commenting on it being poor that they had to throw people out because of their support.
