    Hypothetical situation.

If season tickets are in huge demand and are capped at 12k (as I expect to happen IF we are promoted), would you be prepared to pay a premium to guarantee your seat? i.e. No discount on matchday prices and say another £100 on top in the central SAR blocks.

A number of clubs do this in their prime, non corporate, seats.

Some people just dont want to see this club grow, they like to stay in the rundown little ol stadium that is Loftus rd....dear o dear.

Not sure what posts you are reading. No one wants the club to stagnate, but some people, myself included, do not think we will sell out every game.

If we expanded to 25,000 seats we would sell out half our games IMHO. Many other games would have plenty of tickets available.

Even if we don;t expand, I think half the games will not sell out.

And if our ground is not big enough for div 1 - why are most of our games between 15% and 20% below capacity? Some are 25% empty.

We are already expensive for the championship and we are now playing to full houses. The club know that next season in the PL we will sell out most games so they will not miss the opportunity to capitalize on ticket sale income. If we pay £30 now, we'll pay £40 to £45 easily for premiership football.

In answer to your question Nodge yes I would pay a premium to guarantee my seat for the first season back in the PL. Unless you are a member or a ST you will not get a ticket next season except for the cup games. Personally I would offer the 12K ST's to existing holders and members only, then on general sale for 'newcomers' and 'johnny come lately's' if any are left.

I expect away ST's will be at a premium as well, as many people will want to visit the likes of the Emirates, Old Trafford, Eastlands, Anfield etc and away allocations at these grounds are traditionally very low.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

So you honestly think an 18k cap stadium is big enough for a club in the prem, if we get there....not counting chickens just yet.
          They seek him here.................

PL rules - Must "offer" 10% of capacity or 3,000 tickets, whichever is greater. Clubs can mutually agree other allocations with the agreement of the sitting Safety Advisory Groups, or elect to take a smaller amount if they feel they will not sell out the allocation.

Allocations at all those you have mentioned are 3,000.

We will be there, only another 14 points needed. If the team currently in third place achieve 2 points per game they will finish on 83, but hey that ain't gonna happen.

We'd sell it out no question. Even if we do what Fulham do and offer cut price family deals. You can't stagnate the fan base to stifle future growth. LR in the CCC or League 1 puts many people off as it isn't comfortable, family friendly or particularly good value for many. PL brings in a different fan.

I am saying that not every league game will sell out.

Quote me next season when we have 14,500 v Wigan or Blackpool or Bolton or a few other teams.

Wouldn't happen. Fulham haven't returned to their traditional sub 10k crowds against those sides. We wouldn't either. The only spare seats would be ones that our visitors returned.

I know that rule applies but for London Derbies we would expect to take upwards of 8K, so 3k is small. I can remember queuing at LR for away tickets for Spuds, West Spam etc back in the late 70's

The were not big enough for div 1 was tongue-in-cheek, but wer'e one of the smallest grounds in the championship.
Dont you think the club should be looking forward and increasing it fanbase, cant do that stuck at LR.

In fact you cant do phark all at LR no chance of expanding and so we will miss the boat again and stay a tiny little club fighting to keep its head above the water.

Me as a fan would love this club to have a bright future and grow, would love to leave the craven cottage lot in our wake.

What we must take into account is there are two generations of fans out there who have never seen us play Liverpool and the like.My two boys have been following the R's since they were born and have never seen us play top flight football. One is 18 the other 15.They want to go to every game next season home or away. How many more out there are like them?

Yep - for the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, WH and Arsenal they are small - at Fulham, the big clubs just simply take over the neutral area. For Wigan etc. 3k is plenty.

You can't sell all the away tickets to away ST holders - that needs to be capped at no more than 500 and the remainder of tickets allocated to ST holders on application, then members via loyalty points. Anything left over to general sale.

Agree but 1000 away ST's would be better.

Whatever happens next season tickets both home and way will be at a premium

Anyway off to London now!! Come on you R's
