  • For Supporters Who Think We Won't Fill The Ground In Premiership

We could probably sell 30,000 tickets for the home game against leeds United, if allocation allowed.

Can we put to the bed the myth, that our stadium is big enough as it is in the Premiership?

We only sold out London Derbys plus Man U and Liverpool last time we were in the Prem. We'll see. We're not there yet.

Too much comparison to the last time we were in the premiership.

game much bigger now, profile much bigger too. Sky and media magnfies premiership football to the max.

15-16 years ago, Chelsea and fulham were not getting the crowds they are now.

Not saying we should move, but we should look at putting more seats in Ellerslie Road.

i would never want to move

No way can they put more seats in ER.

It's bad enough trying to move around at HT/FT downstairs as it is.

Do we ground share with Fulham when the work is being done? Or would it be feasable to get this kind of work done within the 2 and a half month close season?

                          Your logic is flawed.

Chelsea didn't have the Abramovic money then. Their crowds only increased when they got high profile players in and they started to win trophies.
Fulham weren't in the Premiership then so they would have lower crowds too.

Sorry, but we'll still struggle to sell out Loftus Road for some games next season as we did before. We just don't get big crowds and won't do so until we win trophies on a regular basis which, on past experience, is unlikely. Success for us is to remain in the Premiership for the forseeable future. We need to be realistic.

We will sell out every game in my opinion basically because every man and his dog want to watch premiership football so if the genuine QPR fan doesn't snap up the quota of ST's on offer then the neutral fan will buy ST's for himself and kid/s to see the likes of Rooney, Gerrard and co once a season. How the hell do you think Fulham get 25,000 every week? They havent become a 'big' club all of a sudden, just take a look at their away following, its shocking.

Well thats sorted then because you say so there will be no further debate on the matter.

                              Anyway.....

Its the same old boring argument, take it from me if we had a 30k stadium in the PL they'd be 10k empty seats for about 12/13 fixtures a season. Happy with our ground, happy with its size, couldn't give a **** about building a new ground to basically cater for the size of support from the opposition
