  • That was the weekend the Rs went up

That is how we will look back on this weekend. Played poorly, still won and all our rivals lost. Eight points clear and grinding out results, can't see us losing another game.To Gareth the Gardener who came on here this week and said "the Welsh are coming" I say this: is that you running back over the bridge back to your depressing little grey pit villages? The Rs are going up and there's no way you or anyone else is going to catch us now. Charlotte Church, Tom Jones, Neil Kinnock, Hugh Edwards - its all over for you boyos.

Stainrodisalegend bids you a fond goodnight.

Can see those being 3 pointers.Probably pick up draws at Cardiff and Millwall as well.Hull,Watford and Leeds hopefully won't be crucial results wise.

Couldnt agree more this is the weekend the Rs went up - Factamongo
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

Oddly, enough, 5 minutes before the game I suddenly felt quite lump-in-the-throat-ish and had a very strong feeling that today was going to be a turning point -- we would win and those around us would lose.
With the way the game went, and with the Taffs having what should have been relatively straightforward games, I just thought it was wishful thinking -- but now, perhaps it was a real premonition, based on, I don't know what!!
Feel a lot more relaxed now than before today's game.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

You get the feeling that the chasing 4/5 teams never really believed they could catch us.Nobody has really pegged us back.
We will win the league and its whoever else stumbles over the line with us.

Forest blew the 2 in hand,Cardiff are wobbling and Swansea havent really got close despite winning about 7 on the bounce before today.

Wouldn't say Cardiff are wobbling, they beat Hull away and Leicester at home and have won 7 of their last 11 home games, doesn't matter though because they still haven't closed the gap on us at all.

Yeh fair one but theyve lost 10 games so they are very beatable.

would take scunny off that list tbh mate. they've sort of made a habit of beating the top teams. beat both forest and Swansea on their patch. it'll be no walker when we go there.
