Don't care. We need to pinch floating fans back from Fulham anyway. The more the merrier. I long for a return to the days when I can walk down Hounslow High St and not be faced with hundreds of Chelsea shirts.

      Good for you.
But I said "many", not everyone, maybe not even most.

There are locals, there are family traditions, but many QPR fans made the choice to follow QPR... and being pretty f***ing good for a few years helped that choice along.

I could have gone with Arsenal, like my dad.
I quite liked West Ham and Spurs when I was 6 years old... but QPR were fairly local, and had me hooked.

I blame Stan Bowles for my 40 year old disease.

I couldn't care much at all tbh. I do not want to sit in a stadium on my jack nor do I want shed loads of non-Rangers popping up but most of those returning are doing just that - coming back after years of arm chair moaning. I have seen mates down there in recent weeks I haven't seen in years. All are coming home. All good.

I don't know of anyone personally who chose QPR because they were a good team at the time or at least I don't think I do. Personally I believe fans who aquired QPR as their team this way are in a very small minority.

What pisses me of is so called QPR fans, who also have a premier league team they follow. I have never been able to work that out.

Always the same; some Billy Big Bowlocks will say: 'I'm a better fan than you because I was there when...' or 'I've been to every game home and away since...' like its a big competition. All I know is back in the late eighties to early nineties, when I was not married, had no kids, had spare cash, lived near to London and had the time, I got to every game home or away that I could. I am now married with a son and consequently not a lot of spare cash or time, so can't go too often.

And yet I constantly hear from some that they have more of a god given right to see the club WE support.

Its bad enough hearing other clubs go on about being bigger / better than my team; when this debate comes up fellow Rs fans start competing with each other to be the **best** fan, it becomes laughable.

If we were to limit attendance to the 17,000 fans who have been season ticket holders for X number of years, how on earth do you think the club's fan base will grow? If you exclude others simply because you feel that they are inadequate because they haven't been as often as you, where will that take us?

A reminder for you all (again). The accounts show just how sustainable a team getting to the Premiership on our gates is; if you close the entrance to these so called plastic fans (condesending term if ever I heard one...) then we will never increase income, which means that those of you who do go regularly will have to fork out more - I can already hear the moaning on hw 'loyal' supporters have been priced out of 'their' club.

Just getting on with supporting the club in your own way and welcome those of us who haven't been able to do what you have done in seeing every game, but couldn't for one of many, many valid reasons.

                  Fair enough.

Rangers were my local team (Kilburn/West Hampstead), but dad was a Gooner, older sister was/is a Chelsea fan (####), many mates were Spurs... and the choice was there for me.

But Rangers being something very special in those days certainly helped me to take the plunge into the dark waters of QPR.

So, to my shame... I was a glory hunter.
                  I feel bad now.

If you think about it, how many fans do support QPR ? and I dont just mean the ones who go to see the games. There must be thousands who have over the years lived in the bush and supported their local team but have had to move away for one reason or the other but still still love QPR. Like me having moved to the costa del sol, there is only QPR for me and there are lots like me. If i was to move back then yes I would deff get meself a ST, then you all can call me what ever you like. Its the same as if we reached a cup final how many of us will be there ? 50000 ? So if i was you all, i would wellcome all the newcomers or oldcomers.

I'm not having a dig far from it mate, I just wasn't aware we had a large group of supporters who are so called glory hunters.

Great to see the ground full, prehaps it will convince our owners to go for that bigger stadium.
                        They seek him here.................

Fingers crossed we achieve Promotion this season.

Then we can get back to losing week in, week out and crowds of 12-13,000 again !

Seriously, I've no problem regards Johnny come lately's or those returning after a few years in the abyss being priced out.....AS LONG AS....
They get behind the team and don't start sl@gging off our players just as soon as they miss a chance or make a mistake.

And on the subject of S/T's, yes those that have stuck with the Club through the wilderness years, SHOULD be rewarded with keeping their seats, paying less, etc. And if that upset some, TOUGH. I believe in loyalty. It's a good thing. Sorry if others were priced out, I'M GENUINELY SORRY. I wisgh it hadn't been the case, but life goes on.

I would love to feedback to the Club's online S/T survey, it's a great move by the Club to gauge fans feeling, but typically I can't because it doesn't work.
                          INFURIATING !

The argument always seems to be that we will never be anything unless we have a bigger stadium and more fans but everytime we sell out (or near to) the same argument about fairweather fans happens. Do we want the club to be able to ever get out of debt? Do we want the club to be self sufficient or would we prefer to run the risk that our 81 year old owner dies and we're left financially screwed?

There are many reasons why fans can't attend games - financial, work, family, disability etc and as BBR's rightly said for some that means they may only attend a few games a season or it could be that because our games are being moved to Monday's it might be the last opportunity whilst the tickets are at their current price and when they are much harder to get.

I've sat in a half empty LR and it can be like a library so the opportunity to sit in a packed out LR against a form side and with the higher chances of good quality football with great atmosphere can't and shouldn't be sniffed at.

Can't wait for tomorrow - should be a cracker.

One thing that really gets to me is when someone comes up into our corner that I've never seen up there before and tells me 'Excuse me, you're in my seat' when there's plenty of seats a row in front.

If that happens over the next few weeks, they're getting poked in the eye.
