Wish they'd turn it off. I know it is a vain hope as too well established now but I do not like it or any other piped muzak when we score thanks

I know what you mean, maybe we are getting to the days where everyone will be expected to watch a game in silence in high tech grounds, with crowd sounds and chanting being played over the loudspeaker systems in place.
A stewards job will be not only to keep people seated but to keep them quiet too.

Or maybe we will all be outpriced and games will all be televised with with sound effects giving the impression to watchers of an atmosphere in the stadiums.

Who knows what the future holds for our once beloved game.

The trouble with 'piped music' is it drowns out the fans, the music is turned up so loud that you can't hear the fans (except when the opposition have won - then it is acceptable to drown them out at home).

Thinking ahead to the Leeds game; I hope the club don't play too much music after the game - I'd liked to be heard celebrating our promotion !!!!!

Having said all that I am going to contradict myself as I've just requested: Depeche Mode's - 'Just Can't get enough' to be played before tommorrow's game.
