Where better than Westfield, local to us and has people visit it from all over the place, imo there couldn't be a better location.

Adidas wouldn't touch us. We could do a seperate team wear deal with a distributor but you don't get anywhere near the money Lotto are currently paying us.

Shirts in stores. Why? Unless you're one of the Big 6 English Clubs (with some minor geographic differences), Celtic, Rangers, Milan, Madrid or Barca - the mainstream sports stores will not stock your shirts or gear. No money in it for them. All about volume and profitable use of floor space.

Similarly, why would we let our shirts be sold at a monumental discount in Sports Direct when we can drive people to our online store and charge £40. From the club's point of view, far more profitable to keep retail in house and keep control of the brand. We'll never be big enough to warrant mainstream retail. Again, Westfield. Why? Shop rents are extortionate. Zero return.

The days of adidas centrally supplying the likes of us, Luton, West Ham and Forest are long, long gone and never to return.

Umbro would be our best option. Now a subsidiary of Nike with no London presence.

always pays to get them to market on time as otherwise their yield could be affected

Aesthetically speaking Umbro (in their "tailored by..." guise) would be my first choice by far, so that's fine with me. Nostalgia aside adidas have completely lost the plot with some of their more recent strips.
