again who said I was doubting his success? I posted a situation, the situation is the relegation battle, what would the board or Bernie or Flavio do? Would they sack Warnock? If you read my post, it says, can warnock last the whole season next year, that's all, it never called for him to be sacked. I want warnock on for 5 years, the question is, will it happen? Clear enough for you?

A lot depend on whether Briatore is still around, or has any say in "stuff".

Look at Roberto Di Matteo and Chris Hughton to see how things can change when owners get the jitters about losing their pot of gold once they get their feet under the Premier League table.
They quickly forget times like these.

I would love Warno to stay in some capacity after he retires..mabe pass the reins on to people he knows and has the same footballing believes as the great man himself.
Continuity has been missing from our club for years.

Will our manager keep his job if we are in a relegation battle next year - is what you have asked. I am very simply saying that's a negative post at a time of year where we have so much positivity to talk about, so why post this? I don't want to read it and I regret even commenting on this. You're response was you're bored and normally the most happy poster on here and then you respond by calling me a Genius, off my Rocker, Ignorant Pratt. You really shouldn't take other people’s opinions to heart so much. Chill out

I think he'll have a go in the prem as that was his final wish, after all he was going to retire anyway. Whether If we are doing bad and the board decide to get rid of him or another club come in for him from the prem we will just have to wait and see, but if he gets an offer from a championship club to try and do the same thing again i think he will just retire. In the end we will probably end up with someone like Lippi.

Funny i was listening to talksport yesterday and Brazils stand in on the Sunday show with Neil was saying what a nice chap he was away from his beside the pitch persona - apparently he brought in sandwiches and even shared them but the funniest thing was when the stand in said apparently Neil likes nothing better than to relax on his tractor for 4 hours at a time chilling out. Top bloke.

Imo i think he will do a good job in the prem given the funds but we'll all have to see how that goes.

laughing my arris off at people thinking he will get us up and retire. you mad or what?
its his dream to have a last crack in the premiership, its the only reason he left palace to join us, cos he knew we had of chance of helping him realise his last dream in football.

saying all that tho, it wouldnt suprise me in the slightest if when he gets us up, the board ack him and get some unknown untested in english football italian who makes us get the lowest ever points in the history of the prem and the lowest golas scored and most against.

Think its a very sensible question actually, but probably about 2-3 months too early.

If we want to simply maintain our Premiership status, then Warnock will stay for the duration. Will we stick with him, if we want to cement our status in the premiership, who knows?

Warnock has always maintained he wants to manage again in the premiership and no-one should take that away from him, if we go up.

I suspect in the long/longer term its all about results and style. We might end up like a Bolton or a Stoke in the premiership, but guess it will be interesting times ahead.

IF he gets us up he should be given time in the premiership

I reckon he will give it his best shot, and if things don't go well he will retire rather than be sacked. If things go well i can see him staying if he gets the financial backing he needs.
