  • Are qpr fans really the quietest in the championship?

Do you think we are the quietest fans?

i dont think we are, i think we have good support noise wise. But im on facebook and there is a group called "NPower Championship banter page" and someone posted a question asking who has the worst support and our club came up alot. so Do you think we are the quiet fans? And if so how can we improve?

    ...........?

Not great at home - then again who is.

Times we've turned it on at home this season..Cardiff definitely was good...Millwall maybe.

Pretty average away from home - Palace was very good though.

We can be brilliant when we want to but sadly that isn't too often. Acoustics at Loftus Rd definitely don't help mind you

we seem a lot worse at home than away. outshouted at home by ipswich until we started to get on top second half. mystery really why the fans aren't more behind the team when we are doing so well. quiet as a morgue for much of this season in SAR.

At home: it takes a goal to get it going, however away from home is another matter - when we're altogether as oppose to being A, Q, P, R and X blocks !!

Villa away next season anyone ?

A lot of teams have poor home support. Our away support is good though.

OK, I just don't buy this - we do have a lot of quite periods, apart from Cardiff this season, but most clubs (not all) do.

I often come here seeing people say they thought the atmosphere was dead and we should be ashamed, when I have thought it was actually OK.

I have seen a lot of football when we had terraces too and been to many other grounds. We are a long way from the best or the worst IMHO.

We're very quiet, IMO. We only start to get behind our team if we're winning.

I'd say we're one of the worst. Most teams who come to LR are vocal. We get outsung at home all the time. Away from home, we can be good or bad, depending on what mood we seem to be in. A few of us tried several times to get us going, and instead, looked like a bunch of tw@ts singing on our own. When HH made it 2-0, we woke up.

if we have a sat 3.pm KO against a team with fans that are up for it - we can make a right noise. It's the other games....

This Sat will be good I am certain....looking forward to it.

I think they are probably right L/RD is very quiet unless something happens like a sending off the crowd dont seem to get up for it, and should do to push the team over the line we need to intimidate teams. by the way our away support is great.

Utter tosh - LR is one of the loudest places to watch football in England. The stadium being enclosed does help this too. This season I've had the misfortune to go to Stamford Bridge and Vicarage road in the home ends and it's so quiet you can hear the players talking to each other easily.

Coventry and Middlesborough are by far the worse.

In terms of atmosphere, we are pretty low down in the championship.

Count on one hand in the last 10 years, when we have created a great atmopshere

You must be joking? Yes, our stadiumrocks when we're on song, but the simple fact is, we very, very rarely are on song. How can we be one of the loudest in the country when we're mute?

Elland Road...now there's a crowd to make a noise in this league.

I'm just going on my experience sitting in grounds, not some facebook poll where other clubs are trying to put us down in one way or another because they can't criticise our football this year.

Warnock has commented on several occasions what a great place loftus road is when it's rocking.

The point I was trying to make was when it's a big game, LR is one of the most intimidating places for an away team to visit. It's what got me hooked as a kid over the Chelsea’s, Arsenals and Man Utd’s of this world.
                              And I never Joke!!
